NEW PRODUCTS Osteotome rack
Healthmark introduces the Osteotome Rack -- designed to protect osteotome tips -- to its Protech instrument trays line. The innova- tive design keeps tips from damage during transportation and reprocessing. These racks make it easy and safe for handling in and out of the Operating Room. The racks are PTFE padded for complete edge protec- tion with a fully fl anged frame for a lightweight but durable design. Angled slots retain a maximum of 12 instruments in place when the bars are down.

Managed cleaning program
Spartan’s HealthCheck environ- mental cleaning program ad- dresses challenges in developing a system to ensure thorough cleaning of high touch surfaces during terminal room cleaning. HealthCheck combines educa- tion, training tools, and docu- mentation with Spartan disinfectant and cleaning solutions for a complete environmental infection control program. CleanCheck web-based, multi- lingual training system educates staff on cleaning standards and methods. UVcheck validation tools, including hermetically-sealed UV marker swabs and portable black light, allow environmental ser- vices managers to train and assess staff cleaning operations. Training process data can be loaded in Spartan’s CompuClean CMMS (Custodial Mainte- nance Management Software) to track and verify program progress and identify concerns.
